Helping you build healthier relationships—starting with yourself.
Whether you're healing from the past, navigating dating, or strengthening your connection with yourself or others, I'm here to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.
Through compassionate, evidence-based therapy and intentional dating coaching, I help adults break old patterns, build confidence, and create relationships that feel secure, connected, and authentic.
Services Offered
Individual and Couples Therapy
Individual therapy is a collaborative space where you can slow down, explore what's keeping you stuck, and build the tools to create lasting change. I use evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions such as internal family systems, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
Couples therapy is a supportive space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and respected. My goal is to help you better understand one another, deepen your connection, and leave with tangible tools that will help you sustain a happy and healthy relationship. I utilize tools and interventions from the Gottman Method to help couples create lasting change.
I offer virtual sessions for clients located in Colorado and in-person sessions if you are located in Boulder, CO.
I accept some insurance providers (Aetna, Cigna, Anthem BCBS)and private pay clients.
Dating and Relationship Coaching
Typical duration: 4-12 sessions
Dating can feel overwhelming, confusing, and exhausting—but it doesn't have to stay that way. Dating coaching is designed to help you approach relationships with more confidence. Together, we'll explore your dating patterns, strengthen your self-awareness, build authentic confidence, and develop strategies to help you create meaningful connections.
What makes my approach different?
My background in relationship science and clinical counseling allows me to look beyond surface-level dating advice. We’ll explore the deeper patterns that influence who you choose, how you connect, and what may be keeping you from the relationship you want. This is not about changing who you are, it’s about helping you show up as your most authentic, confident self.
All dating coaching sessions are held virtually and clients can be located anywhere in the United States.
What’s the Difference Between Therapy & Coaching?
Therapy creates space to explore your emotional patterns, relationships, attachment style, past experiences, and the ways these experiences may be influencing your life today. We can take our time getting to the root of what’s happening and work toward lasting emotional and relational change.
Schedule your free 20 minute phone consultation below to find out which path is best for you!
Rather than spending significant time exploring your past, coaching focuses on your current goals and the practical steps that can help you move toward them. Sessions are more directive and action-oriented, with concrete strategies, feedback, and accountability.
Hi, I'm Tessa, Licensed Professional Counselor and dating coach.
My passion has always been helping people build meaningful, healthy relationships. I actually began my career in the matchmaking industry, where I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate modern dating, and how much our past experiences, attachment patterns, and beliefs about ourselves shape the relationships we create.
That curiosity led me to earn my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Today, I help individuals strengthen their relationships with themselves and others through evidence-based therapy and dating coaching.
Whether we're working through anxiety, relationship patterns, heartbreak, or building confidence in dating, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make lasting change. I believe healthy relationships don't happen by chance—they're built through self-awareness, intention, and the courage to show up authentically.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll probably find me hiking in the Colorado mountains, snowboarding, spending time with my husband, dog, or exploring a new creative hobby.
